Buffet

There is good in this room

This intelligence buffet

But I’ve always hated buffets

Because the breadsticks are usually stale

And the sushi is a porcelain ticket

Because its all been sitting out too long

Educational poisoning

Information devoid

Of action and do

Diners sitting in their chairs

Gorging

To punch their tickets

To a stomach ache later

As it all tries to digest

It would all be quite good

If the goal wasn’t to eat

As much

In as little time

As stomach walls allow

I am not a student

And I’m going home to make a salad
